AV Support

Overview

IT provides AV (Audio Visual) support for assemblies, large school events, guest speakers and in classrooms as requested. AV support ensures that presentation materials, including slides, video and audio, are successfully delivered by the host.

AV support includes:

  • Testing of room equipment before the event
  • Coordination with the presenter (ensuring equipment compatibility)
  • On-site support during the event

Getting Started

AV support should be requested at least one week in advance of the event. If AV support is part of a larger event requiring a room booking and other resources, the Event Request Form should be used.

The requestor may be asked to confirm:

  • Host computer equipment (Mac or PC)
  • Media types for the presentation (slides, video, audio)
  • Microphone requirements
  • Network requirements
