Phones

Overview

School phones are installed in offices, administrative areas and classrooms. The following functions are available:

Caller ID
Personal Directory
Call Forwarding
Corporate Directory
Voicemail
Voicemail to email

Not all phones are enabled for long distance dialling, particularly those in public areas. IT should be contacted if phone features and capabilities need to be changed.

Getting Started

Dialling

Dial a 3-digit number to reach other school phones
Dial 9 + phone number for off-campus, local calling
Dial 9 + 1 + area code + phone number for North American calling
Dial 9 + 011 + Country Code + City Code + Phone Number for international calling

Voicemail

Press the “Messages” button on the phone to call voicemail
Enter your voicemail password when prompted

Users can access and manage their voicemail by navigating to:

https://sjsho-cuc.stjohns.bc.ca/inbox

Log in with your school username and password. If you are off-campus, your computer must be connected to the VPN to access this site.

User Preferences

Users can change their phone settings, including call forwarding, by navigating to:

https://sjsho-cm-pub.stjohns.bc.ca/ccmuser
