Networks

Overview

St. John’s School offers wireless network access throughout the school, and wired network connectivity for workstations in administrative areas. Two wireless networks are published for use:

  • SJS-SECURE: the BYOD (bring your own device) network for faculty, staff, and Grade 6 to 12 students.

  • SJS-GUESTS: a guest network for visitors to the school; access codes are distributed at reception (for visitors only)

The SJS-MANAGED network is used for all school managed devices, which includes school owned equipment and Grade 3 to 5 student iPads.
