At St. John's School, technology is authentically used as a tool to benefit learning. To support this integration, our Educational IT Coordinator, Geoff Jones, works with teachers to find the correct digital tool and assist with modeling appropriate digital literacy and digital leadership.

Therefore, we need to shift from Professional development to Professional Learning.
Development- to grow expand, advance, progress, mature, enlarge, or improve. The locus of control is external to the person attending the event.
Learn- to study, absorb, acquire, discover, realize, understand, ascertain. The locus of control is inside the person attending the event. The person has ownership of their own growth and advancement.
